Exclamation For Tanner and others QA1 setup

For those just installing the QA1 kit on their car here are my experiences from the first 300 miles and the first trip to the track.
Started out on the road with 5 front 4 rear and the car bounced like a basket ball going down the road. Ended up at 7 all of the way around. Rides firm but not back breaking.
Now at the track:
Well I went to opening day at MidMich Motorplex and froze my but off. Cloudy, strong north east wind, 43 degrees, 29.85 barometer, and 75% humidity.
My main goal was trying to get the shock settings right. I started out with 3 on the front, 4 on the left rear, and 5 on the right rear with no air in the airbag. The ET streets were at 20 psi cold. Stalling to 3000rpm.
Slipping and sliding on the first run, someone must have leaked in the right lane.
Run 2 good hook 1.66 in the left lane. 12.27 @ 111.09
After a while and a passel of front drivers spun the next pass. The track prep and hook had gone.
Lowered the air to 16psi cold spun again.
Lowered the front shocks to 1 spun again. Converter is hitting the tires to hard.
Lowered launch rpm to 2500 dead hook another 1.66 and 12.21 @ 111.82.
The car feels real good like this and I would never have been able to hook at all in these conditions before the QA1s.
For those of you with real power you'll probably need to set the right rear to 6 and maybe put some air in the air bag
Just thought that I would share,

Nice runs. I find the best thing about them is that you can adjust to the track

last time our I went with 2 on the front(front end seems to drop to fast on 1) and 4 on the rear. Track was like ice. car was coming out of the hole spinning to 1.67-69 60ft's. I tried playing with them but that was about all the track would take.

When I rolled up the last time they warned me that the lane was dead 30ft out. The three guys in front of me had put it sideways right there. I did my burn out to get the ET streets to temp, staged and hammered it for all it was worth! The yank flashed to 4k and hit the tires hard. Car kicked left and the front end dropped It went fairly sright and I still managed a 1.69. this was with NO other traction mods. factory TQ arm and no LCA relocators.

I am very pleased with my QA1s

I must be getting old. I like to drive mine around at 4 front 2 rear. Rides like a Cadilac!

i do have the airabgs in the rear, so we shall see. i really appreciate seeing the info on how you dialed it in maybe next weekend i will get to goto st.thomas, and then again on the 19th to st.thomas to spray the car! i will probably set the fronts at 5 and the rears at 6, we'll see.
