Re: street wars e-town

I see traction issuse with a 6 speed on street tires. I recomend you get a set of drag radials. Stock 10 bolt rear is a little weak and breakable.

Try to get to the front of the pack for eliminations so you line up against an import. When they run out they pair a domestic vs domestic. Going against an import (most of the time) is easier than a domestic.

Last 8 or so domestics left usually are seasoned bracket racers looking for a pay day.

Note track has a noise restriction. You may have to cap the borla. The "restriction" plate was deemed to loud in my car.

Good luck, have fun, and be safe.

Try to get there early and make sure all the wheel lugs are on, seat belts work, reverse lockout works, and the car is not dripping anything. Don't have anything loose in the car that could move around and create a hazard. It isn't just you on the track so you need to be prepared for an idiot in the other lane doing something stupid.

Let the tech guys know it is your first time. Obey the speed limit on the return road and pit areas. Bring some shoe polish, windex, and paper towels for your dial in times.

Yea, 101 with reasonable air is 13.5-13.6 with an M6 and drag radials (traction) at Englishtown.
