Roll bar question??

I have a wolfe bolt in chromoly rollbar. In order to meet NHRA/IHRA specs, which point has to be welded in? Just the main hoop right? I'd like to try and get it all welded in, but for sake of not grinding off too much powdercoat ... What needs to be welded in to be "legal" for 11's? Well... even 10's for that matter?

All mounting points in a non frame car (unibody) must use 6x6x1/8 steel plates. They can be be bolted in as long as there is a plate on the top and bottom of the floor and bolted together with at least four 3/8 bolts.

Trying to put a plate on the underside to be bolted in isn't practical so the best thing is to weld the top plate to the floor. The mount points of all the bars are then welded to the plates.
