quick question regarding drag strip rules

Do dragstrips usually check your registration? my registration just expired a couple days ago and I haven't received my new registration yet, but was planning on going to New England Dragway this wednesday night.

I go to Raceway Park[Englishtown, NJ] often, and have never been asked for either reg OR D/L.. so it is probably OK to go try..

that's what I was thinking, but I honestly couldn't remember if they've asked me for registration. I think it's just the drivers license. well I think I'll try it..thanks

They only require that the car has the proper safety equipment an you have a valid drivers license for more info go to newenglanddragway.com check the street night rules. The earlier you get there the more runs you'll get to make. In the first hour you can usually get 2 time trials and after that you might get 2 more. Have fun

NED never asked me for a registration, just a drivers license. They might notice your plates and/or inspection sticker though, just a thought. But then again there are trailered cars there that aren't registered. Good luck. -Rob

I went up there a month ago for street night and they didnt want my registration. I gave it to the girl in the booth and she told me to take it back.

Registration is for the street man

Just don't get stoped by a cop on your way there.....unless she's on a trailer
