Lightbulb Plans/Parts list

I have a 1996 Camaro Z28, GU5 (3.23) A4. Bone stock I ran a 14.2 with a 2.29x 60ft, at 98 MPh, so its a healthy running car, and with traction I think it would go like a healthy car. Anyways, my plans are going for a 12.7-13.3 N/A quarter time. And faster with nitrous. rskrause said I should post my idea here instead of LT1 tech. I want streetable and daily driveable, meaning liveable.

Jethot longtubes and y-pipe
Hotcam kit
2500 stall
Loudmouth
100 shot nitrous
K&N fipk (installed the other night)
dyno tune

not sure on cylinder heads, if I want to port them or what, or possibly invest in the new trickflow heads for a bigger combo at a later date. I doubt my home-porting abilities, so may stay stock headed? I want honest opinions, dont hold back. I want a 13.0 car with the cam and bolt ons, and faster with the nitrous So let me know.

here's a friends car. he launches hard with gears and a 2800 stall with traction of course.

might want to go alittle bigger stall like 2800 stall.

u can hit high 12s low 13s all day w/o touching the heads most likely.

Ive heard that the loudmouth is super loud with longtubes......I would get an exhaust cutout and then put on a magnaflow, hooker, corsa or any exhaust that actually has a real muffler on it. I agree that you should get a higher than 2500 stall......2800 or 3000 imo. You may want to also add some drag radials to that list (maybe for track use only), they will definately help out a bunch. You may also want to consider 3.42 or 3.73 gears. Other than that your looking pretty good. Any healthy Lt1 with traction should be in the high or better 12's with a cam and full bolt-ons.....heck I'm going for 12's with just bolt-ons next summer. Good luck.

I run 13.3's @104 w/ mac mids, cutout, tune, CAI, and nittos (3.23's A4 too) I'd say all you have to do is headers, catback/cutout, CAI, tune, and either a 100 shot (if you want to go the cheap route) or the hotcam. A stall will help ya w/ a few tenths, too.
Also, I had a 90 shot on it for a while and ran a 13.3 @109.8 (2.4 60' ) but that mph is in the mid 12 range if I could have hooked, so a 100 shot won't even affect drivability and still put you where you want to be.
