Paging tnthub !! NED rules ?

I am registered for the Nationals sept 5-7 to race E.T. bracket[no elec],I phoned for info on seat belt requirements.

I was told I needed SFI no older than 2 years , on the site it just calls for belts 11.50 -13.49.

Is it because I am using 5 points and not the stock belts that they ask for the SFI belts.

The tech said I could run my stock 3 point or SFI legal belts.

Could you clarify the situartion please.

[New belts are ordered and arrive tuesday]

Thank you !!!

Looking forward to meeting you !

If you are running SFI belts they have to be less then 2 years old.If you fall into the category of being able to run your stock belts you may do that.I will also be running the ET no electronics look foward to seeing you there.

I will be pitting on Wednesday but I see no problem coming in on Thursday there is usually good pit space still available on the et side.Other years I piitted on Thursday but I changed from an open to an enclosed trailer(and I need to work on Thursday) so I will be with the early birds.

Hey Keith, could you save me a place next to you? Since I don't have a trailer my pit gets over run whenever I leave. I need to be in Rochester from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Thursday on behalf of IHRA to help publicize the event. I think it is just some radio remote broadcast at an auto dealer or something like I did last year...

Ted I will try make extra space but I will not be there at all on Thursday but I will put a cone there and see what happens.P.S. on the IHRA site it says people who display their cars get select pit spots.(probably applies to the big guys though). Trailer is white 1017 on rear door see you there.

Yes. I am supposed to receive a guarenteed good spot. However, they didn't help me last time because I am in the ET pits. I am certain it is the same thing this year. I don't understand why they wouldn't let me pit on the pro side as long as I line up in time but they said "no" last year and I assume the answer will be the same this year. Thanks Keith.

The ET pits are seperate right,is it 2 lanes out and you run your lane neighbor or is it random from 3 or more lanes??
