old nhra stocker rules?

what were the old rules for nhra stockers? when they were still required to use a stock torque arm? I'm wondering what suspension mods they were allowed, and what kind of 60 ft times they were pulling.

Thanks.

As far as I know there was not a rule change. Back when I built my Firebird I did not know of any aftermarket torque arms. The best sixty foot that I had with it was a 1.48. I eventually destroyed it and replaced it with an Edelbrock torque arm. It is now relocated and heavily modified (best of 1.41).

Best Regards,

Daren
