well, i went to the track on sunday and i only got 3 passes before it started pouring rain, so basically the weather was crap but i got a few new bests and the track is letting everyone come back next sunday for free so i will hopefully get my 12 sec pass then.
last years best was a 13.609 @ 103.4 w/2.099 60
this year with the addition of an lt4 hotcam kit, and a 2400 stall and some borrowed wore out BFG DRs 275/40/17s i went
13.137 @ 106.568 w/ 1.994 60

the weather was 100% humidity, cause it was raining, 75*F, and 29.85 on the barometer so starting already at 1300ft in wichita, the DA was between 3000 and 3500 all day.

does anybody have any advice or comments for me, and for you stall guys how should i launch. and do you thik 12's is doable with my setup

 

It's doable but get rid of that 2400 and put a Vigilante 2800-3000 and some Et streets. I went 12.50's@107mph with that kind of setup. Later Clint

 

Great time you have going. since last year i have installed a K&N air filter, 160* thermo, BMR relo's, pro 5.0 shifter. I'm still running 7 spyro pro's and 1 stock wire. and still have set to tune it.

BUT, my OBD1 was sent out today and i should be seeing it in a day or 2, from Ion over at madz28.com

It was 85* and humidyesterday at the track, made 11 runs before i had to leave.

ran on my kumho's at 40 psi. this was my 3rd run of the day.

as the day went on, the car developed some problems which slowed me down, i fixed as best as i could with the tools i had and ran again at 25 psi, still burnt like hell, with a 2.3 60", and 14.3 in the 1/4 at 104 mph

on a better day i think i can pull a high 13.6, with all 8 spyro pros, I'm going to head back after i get my computer installed and get everything worked out on the car. I wanna cam my car but don't know what cam to do. and i'm short on cash right now.
