Well i was just starting to get the car dialed in and ready to run some decent times tonight when we believe my MSD took a poop and I had to be towed home. Anyways my best run was made shifting every gear at 6500rpms. on this run I actually missed 4th gear as i was going through the traps.

I am 100% sure if i would have had a few more runs that I could have made 12.7-12.8 with a 2.0. I only got to make to runs with the upped shift points. The other was a 13.3@111.6.

 

No offense, but your car is really slow.. and I'm not sure why. What's the DA where you race?? Are you on stock heads?

 

Yeah he's on stock heads.

 

Yeah, I would not call him slow for what he has. He may not be quick, as Firebird has Many traction issues, but slow he is not.

Slow??? With those poor 60' times it's easy to see that the car has a lot of potential. Improve those launches and watch those times plummet. The car has decent mph so just work on getting it out the hole. Good luck.
