New best in totally stock internal Lt1 6spd

Hey guys. I went to the rent a track at Atco on thursday. I got a new best but came .05 seconds away from setting the totally stock internal Lt1 6 spd record. The record is 12.48. My best was a 12.531@109.18. My clutch was slipping some on the launch too. With some cooler air and/or a new clutch, the record will be mine

are you sure thats the record? are you talking about a bolt on car or stock bottom end, cause i can see a stock bottom end going a lot further than 12.5 atleast i would hope.

Not true, stock bottem end can still have heads/cam. For example, my setup in my sig is "stock bottem end" but has a heads/cam setup. But he is talking just bolt ons.

Who's record are you shooting for, I know a stock LT1 6 speed that went deeper than that.

Isn't SAR2K's car an auto? Doesn't he have roller rockers too?

I guess you have a point, he has an Auto and RRs too but still think 12.3s might be the 'record' for M6 but this one had RRs too...so maybe he does have a ligit record....

I once had the fastest PPM LT4 H/I/HOT cam car with SC plates. Where do the qualifications stop?

Read his post again. He did not say "stock bottom end = bolt-ons". Rather, that to be considered a true bolt-on car, the car must have a stock bottom end.

Fastest M6 TOTALLY STOCK INTERNAL LT1 ALL MOTOR F body
Thats the record that I am shooting for. I thought there was 3 guys ahead of me but there is actually only 2. 1 guy ran a 12.482 and the other 12.5. When I bring the car to the track in December with or without a clutch I should be able to take the record. You guys are correct. I still wouldnt have the "bolt on " record for LT1 6 spd. His time was 12.34. That still belongs to GreenbeanZ28. That was with roller rockers and a 3360 racewight. I'm probably gonna be close to that @ 3500 raceweight and stock rockers, once I get some -1000 DA's and maybe a new SPEC 3 and flywheel.
