New Best Time

60': 1.701
1/8th: 8.105 @ 83.90
1/4th: 12.769 @ 105.79

Only difference is that I removed the K&N. I picked up 1+ mph.

To be honest I couldn't tell a difference between my 3.42s and 3.73s.....Im sure your move to 3.73s from 3.23s will make more of a difference....BTW I use a Fuddle and swear by its quality and efficiency.

I started out with a Vig. 2800 for the bolt ons. Then I bought the Yank 3600 for the H/C swap. Both very nice converters and would recommend both.

Thats just it.... Any of them (Fuddle, Edge, Yank, Vig etc) will work great in a street strip application.

The Yanks, and Vigs are a bit more effiecent in higher stall units (4K+) So they are more suited (justified) to stronger then your average bolt on or even mild cam cars. If your gonna run a small stall like my 3K or a 3600 then I dont see the use in spending $300-$400 more on a Yank or Vig. I love my Fuddle, and I doubt a Yank or a Vig would yeild any greater results.

Now if I was running a igh RPM set up, or had gobs of power and needed a looser dtall then I would say a Vig or Yank is worth the money for sure.

Kevin, forgot to say, good times!! As far as your thoughts on converters, you could be right with the names mentioned. In my case I went with the Vig. 2800 (bolt ons at the time) because it is a well known name, and wanted no surprises. I went with Yank for the same reason after the H/C swap and knowing I might be spraying. I picked the 3600 because I was told that it will flash to 4k once I lower where the nitrous comes on at. That will eat up the rpm I am leaving on the table as I cross the line right now.

CamaroRacing12, they both drive fine on the street. To my surprise the 3600 drives as nice as the 2800 did, and I lowered my 60ft. 3 or 4 hundredths.

Thanks man! Im getting ready for some chasis work. A new K Member, upper and lower A arms etc. Kicking the idea of manual rack and pinion around as well. Drop more weight and see just how far I can take this car before I make over 275 wrhp :P
