New Best At MIR This Weekend

Went to the Eastern F-Body shootout this past Saturday, finally got the car to run a desent number, 11.21 at 121 mph, I Guess not bad for a stock bottom end LT1. It's been alot of frustration this year, but maybe I've turned the corner, like to thank Joe Overton for all the ideas and knowledge he share's with me week in and week out, and thank Steve Quinn for an excellent camshaft.

You've really come a ways in just a year. Congrats on your new best. I was able to get it on video. What were your 60' times? What have you done for weight removal?

Thanks everyone. On that pass, 60ft was 1.56, so I know there is some improvements to be made yet. Check out my homepage for more info on the car. www.hometown.aol.com/csjta/myhomepage/index.html

Congrats on the new best. I wish I could get those numbers but I think my 3600lb raceweight and no tune yet is prohibiting me from getting where you are. BTW what is your raceweight? Did you dyno it yet with the th350 and new setup?

Hey Chris!! I had no idea that was your car! I'm at Richmond every weekend. You might have seen my car, I'm the red Z that had the N2O backfire a few weeks ago. I see your car there all the time!! That's crazy!

Here's a few pics of mine, maybe you reconize it???

I'll have to check out your car up close next time I see you. BTW, you don't happen to know that red LT1 TA that runs 9s huh?? An all motor car with some type of TBI set up or something???

Nice job on the ET!! Say hello if you see me out, name's Jonathan.

Yea, *duh*, after I posted I looked up and wondered if that be him??? lol!

But I figured there are prolly plenty of NA LT1s in the 9s, but I guess not!!

That red TA is straight up bad ***! I'm stoked to have him run at the same track I do if he is indeed who you say he is....

Hey Jon, yea I saw that lil backfire, how loud was it in the car? No Dyno numbers, but race weight should be right near 3200.

Joes94TA-

Yup, I was right beside your car that day! Cool! Wasn't TOO bad , blew a couple of sensors off and the other little cosmetic stuff. I've since switched to a plate set up and have run my best ET in sig. I'll try and say what's up next time I see you.

CSJTA-

Hey man! Yea it was pretty loud in the car, lol! I thought for sure I popped the motor. My gf said the whole car shook. Guys in the pits all the way back down near the woods said they heard it. But hey, you live and you learn! Say hi next time I'm there if I don't see you first.
