Congrats Rick, I figured you would be there sooner or later. How much were you spraying? Any other changes to the engine or chassis since I've last talked to you?

Just the 6 point bar. That a few tweaks and a set of Patriot golds. The jets for the nitrous are the same, just put some timing back in it. 3 degrees and a little mix of 93 and 104 octane.

Congrats!
Since the car was bought in late 93. It's got a TA cover with the supports.

It was good meeting you and the others. Hope to do it a few more times in the future.

Just a crappy vid with no zoom. The trans is actually behaving better now that the shift points where lowered and the line pressure bumped a little. I know that's a no-no with a shift kit but it shifts nice without banging. I also leave in drive and shift to OD right after the 1-2 shift. Something to do with a better 2-3 shift if it's in OD. Also overfilled it by 1/2 a quart. It's all the little things Iv'e read in the trans section. Seems to work for now, then it's CPT time.

Congrats, my car ran very similar times with stock shortblock, small Joe O cam, Lloyds heads, 150shot and the car had all stock suspension with 3.42's in the 10bolt too. 10.86@125mph with mid 1.5 60's. Later Clint

Thanks Clint, I always try and keep up with your latest project as best I can. You always seem to get the most from your combinations.

Good stuff.

Really wish I had gone the spray route with mine, but I'm married to this torque converter for a little while.

150 shot would put me deep into the 10's.. curious where 200 would take me.

That is the key, putting parts together that work together, then getting it to the track in some good air. Just having good parts doesn't mean that they'll work well with each other.

That is very true but with n20 you don't even have to worry about the air too much either b/c you have the atmosphere all bottled up.
