New best also at the EFA shootout

Had a pretty good day at the shootout, got a new best and won the LT1 Pure Street (bolt-on) class at the EFA shootout at MIR...DA apparently was +1000 or more so I think there is more in her but it's time for me to move on to heads and cam..so my quest for 11's fell a tic short at 12.034 @ 112.29 MPH. All my runs that day were 12.03-12.08 so I feel good that I backed up the time. Weighed the car today and she weighed 3353 with street tires on the back, so race weight was prob around 3300 incase anyone was interested. Only bad thing that day was having to beat Dirk (another EFA member on this board) to win the class...great guy.

P.S. I will update my sig after posting this

3.73's and 3000 Yank...other mods are LT headers, no cats, mez water pump, duals with x-pipe, 1LE DS, drag shocks, V6 springs, and 1.6 rockers, tires where BFG drag radials and ET streets (I tried both that day) We had a little bit of a tail wind (not much) so that might account for some of the MPH.

Congrats , Bill . I still can't believe how fast you have that stock Lt1 going. Hell, I only ran an 11.92@115 on the motor that day..lol It was nice to meet you although it was rushed and we couldn't talk that much.
Take Care
Matt

Thanks guys..

Matt, nice meeting you too. Thanks for taking the torque arm to chris.

Steve, Dont forget to subtract my fart azz from the weight , so car weight was a tic over 3100 since I weigh in around 190..notice I said race weight Wish you both could have been there too..Tell Larry I said Hi.

Dirk, Imagine the look on my face if you sprayed that run..lol Good luck getting in the 10's I know you can do it, just keep her straight I mentioned a few times on EFA about the exhaust, guess you missed it..you think it was louder then it was in Englishtown...lmao
