New best 60's

Haven't posted to the CZ28 community in a while - just a quick update.

Went to the track last Sunday and ran some new best 60's - this is after we squared the car and set the pinion angle to -2.5

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/D...n-1_718074.htm

1.48
1.49
1.50

ET's were 10.65, 10.83, 10.74 - they were scattered because I was working on shock settings.

Heading out this Sunday to hopefully beat the 10.57 best that it has run.

couldnt see the video. what were your 60ft time before you made the pinion adjustments? What was the angle before you adjusted it to -2.5? and finally what tires are you using? I have been having a hard time hooking up also.

Pinion angle previously was +4 (was way off) and the car would cut 1.55 60'

I run M/T ET Drag slicks at 14lbs of air.

The car is a fox body Mustang.

My old Z28 would cut 1.61 60's on BFG Drag Radials - suspension mods were BMR lower control arms and comp engineering 3 way rear shocks.
