New Best!

Went to the track last night. I made 3 runs:

1st 2nd 3rd

60' 1.755 1.815 1.685
1/8 8.056 8.059 7.942
mph 85.60 86.23 86.11
1/4 12.658 12.620 12.510
mph 106.64 107.91 107.62

My previos best was a 13.100 @102.57 in april. The only difference I made between these runs and the 13.1 was the MAFT at 4% lean, the cutout, and the sportsman pros. I was hoping for 12.8's, I was happy as hell when I got back and saw a 12.6 on the first run.

Good Runs Man.

I remember when my car first started running low 8s in the eigth. It had went a 8.0 the week before at the track with my dad driving and a 8.23 with me driving(I don't speed shift, my father does). So the next week I wanted to see my car run 7s in the eigth. I just wanted a 7.999 timeslip. Well the first run the next week I ran an 8.09. Well the next run my father made was a 7.80. Then I went a 7.90 and he finally made a 7.74 run that day.

thanks for the replys

I was gonna try 6% lean on the MAFT but I didn't have my atap with me and figured I'd better not push my luck.

I knew on that last run I would get a 7.9xx 1/8th. It felt way better than the first too runs from the beginning. You gotta burn the hell outta them sportsmans, but they hook awesome!

I would post my weight but every time I go to the track the scales are broken or something. The only weight reduction I did was take out the spare tire, jack, sway bar and, back seats.

Congrat's on the new times. Another 50HP and you'll have low 12's and maybe an 11. Props to ya.
