New best!

I finally got it to run 6.99 in the 1/8 mile this weekend, not bad for a 355 with a 3400 lb raceweight. Then as if god had said " enough" the opti died, but I've decided to install a delteq system this time, so will see how it goes.

That should be good for a 10.99

Nice run on an NA 355! Who ported your heads. They must work very well with your cam.

Re: New best!

I forget who did them. I bought them from a friend of mine like 6yrs ago and I can't remember who he said did them, MORE performance I think. All I know is they work. The same friend has been wanting me to put on a set of worked AFR 210's that he has, but I'm afraid they will kill the power in my ole 355.

Re: New best!

Nice times Randy. The bigger heads will probably make more power unless they have too big of CC chamber but you have to get it tuned right unlike I. My car is off to the chasis dyno for some tuning finally on Tuesday. later Clint

Re: New best!

Allan, owner of Futral Motorsports is doing it. I am thinking 425-440rwhp N/A and 620-640rwhp on 200HP jets, the Th350/converter will eat up quite a bit of HP. Later

I'm of the same opinion installing a little bit larger head will increase pwr and not drop it.

Very nice times

Re: New best!

Did you hack the hell out of it to fit a 30 inch tire in there?
I am switching to a TH400 and would like to run a tall tire to calm down the cruise RPM.
