New best!!

Went to my local 1/8 mile track today for their first TnT to see what gains I had made from this winters mods. Well, I went a 1.47 60ft 7.13@ 94.7 mph. I'm estatic to say the least and hopefully with some more tuning I can reach 7.0's by the end of the year.

Re: New best!!

Ya I'm N/A. The converter is a 4200, but stalls 4500. As for the cam I promised Joe O that I wouldn't say, but it's not that big and it's hyd roller.

Re: New best!!

Nice times Randy. I just would like one 1.4 anything 60' to see what my car would run N/A all out. The best I can muster is 1.58 60' and ran 7.19@97mph 1/8th and 11.24@120mph with the 3.42's and a 3800 converter. With those kind of 60's my ole T/A would run 10's on motor for sure. Maybe one day this winter I will stick my 4500 converter and some 3.73's to see if I can do it but for now I am shooting for 9's on the spray. Later Clint

Re: New best!!

Thanks Mac! I was really happy with the way the car ran last weekend, and think there's still some left in it. I look forward to getting on a 1/4 mile track and see what it will run, not sure that it will run 10's though. Good luck to you this year and maybe we'll get to meet sometime at the track.

Re: New best!!

Thanks everybody, I was stoked after that run.

Mark, maybe I'll see you at the rock on May 7th for the GM show.

Joe, it's good to hear from you, it's been since super chevy since we've spoken. I really believe that there is more in the car with some more dyno tuning, but I start my track pts soon so it may be a while before I can get it done.

Take care everyone!

Re: New best!!

Well, ya never know. I just got Rockingham's schedule in the mail yesterday and didn't have a chance to look at their site, so I didn't know it was coming up. I'll see what I can do - even if it's just to come and look around and watch you tear everyone up!
