We went out to fayetteville for the all night test-n-tune yesterday.

The car is a
01 Z28 six speed with a Air-Lid, Magnaflow Catback, and a tune.

With the stock tune loaded back in the car the car went a 8.70 at our local 1/8th mile track.

Here are the runs for friday with the tune @ 68 degrees.

Not too bad considering its only got 3 bolt-ons! I'm very impressed with this car especially because I've only taken a 6-speed car down the track a handfull of times. All of my cars have been autos up till recently.


I'm very impressed with the car. Most other LS1's where running mid to late 13's. With just one more thing, or heck even a good sub 2.0 60 foot it will be in the 12's easy.

Next up is some headers w/off road pipes, Intake bellows, LCA brackets, fanswitch (for the staging lanes) and some desprately needed tires. I'd like to put the car on the dyno and try to find every little last bit of power too.

 

Very solid runs there. Especially that last one. A good 60' time like you said and that could have easilly been a 12.9 or so.

 

Sweet runs.......12's are so close.

I was there with the girlfriends car.. Usually don't go that far for the track.

We go to moorseville almost weekly

Is that not freaking awesome.. If the track didn't go to sh*t from all the punks with rice I think we could have gotten it down to run a 60'. The car honestly drove 2 hours.. got in line.. then pulled this off.
