Talking New Best!

Went to a SVT shootout. Great bunch of guys and it is fun seeing the Ford emblem in the rear view...

Off the road with just enought time to change tires it ran a 12.02 and then i went to the good lane and ran a 11.96!! Finally, an 11 second run from the car!! went several more 12.0s, I was happy.

Now it was time to try the NX 100 shot. Put on the 28s and ran 11.6X, 11.5X, and.....1.57/11.17@119.51. I could not believe it. Ran a low 11 on a 100 shot!!!!

I think the 28X11.5s are too big for my car, i borrowed them from an M6 guy and I just dont think my car shocks the tires enough to use such a wide tire. I hope to later use some 10.5 or thinner just to see. This track is always sticky so I am not conserned with traction!!

Vid of 2nd Hose pass. I picked up 4tenths from this run with just adjusting the window switch.

Congrats on the time. Gives me a little hope. I just ordered a TNT F2 kit, hopefully I will see some lower 11 second runs.

Been a while it seems since anyone went 11's N/A with the hotcam. Nice Job there, Shon.

Congrats! Those times are outstanding, hopefully I can come within 5 tenths of what you're running on the LT4 H/I/Hot Cam.

Were the heads out of the box LT4's or ported?

The heads have bowl work and 2.02/1.60 valves but this can be accomplished without such work. (That work was a waste of money!)

Shon what gear are you running? I currently have a 3.73 but have debated on changing to a 3.42.

I have 3.73 but want 4.10+ for the motor. But for NX runs I would go to a 3.73/27" combo or 3.42/26".

My NX runs were with the 3.73/28x11.5x15 ET Drags.
