we can run whatever tree you want. I want it to be more of a race of the cars instead of who cuts the best light. I still have a 4.71gear in it...will prolly be 4.57s for the race since I fully expect me to have too much gear on motor now. I'm still gonna be set up for motor..the nitrous stuff is just for kicks. On that 11.0 pass babying it out of the hole..I mean really walkin it out and hitting the jug about 40 ft out ..if I remember right it was a 6.6 or low 6.7 8th at mid 10x mph. I have nothing for you on the jug I think it was on a low 10 at 134ish run..but its all speculation since i was out of gear way before the 1/4 mile. When I let off and kept it in gear coasting I crossed the 1/4 traps about 20 mph below my 8th mile traps..heheheh..too funny. I may pick up another 9" 3rd member and throw some nitrous gears in it to have fun in the summer or something.

But yes..I do hope to have a little suprise for people at the shootout. I can't compete with the full out auto race cars...but hopefully they will know a little red lt1 6 speed was in the race..heheheh.

the gig is up this saturday, i am hoping for some clean passes and a track that is prepped really really well! fingers crossed, otherwise the weather looks like it is supposed to be pretty nice! i been'a'waitin' all year for this!

nah..people will be camping all over the place..they did last year and were fine. I would bring a nice thick sleeping bag just in case. I think the worse you will see is mid 40s that time of year. I was walking around at night last year with just a light jacket..the year before it was really cold though. You canadians should be use to the cold.

i don't mind the cool weather, just the cold weather! it was cold this past weekend sleeping at the track! it was in the 40's!!! sorry but for sleeping outside that is frickin' cold!!! then again, i borrowed a nice summer tent, it had screens on two sides of it! no good for keeping the wind out when it is 40ish, lmao!!!

Ok the Shoutout will be a blast once again this year! It's the M6 gearslingers from the Great White North vs. the M6 gearslingers from the Swampland... the two top N/A M6 LT1 guys (Taner & Tim) and the two top N/A M6 LS1 guys (Roman & Jason) all at the same track... new records & PBs will be set for sure!
I'll try to get these races on video provided that I haven't drank too much (if possible) of Taner's beer. Ofcourse I'll have to get footage of Joe just plain smacking EVERYONE N/A, LOL!
