Need to clear this up....dying to know

ok last time i went to the track i ran a 13.3 at 107.8 w/ a 2.2 60ft. Now this was a 66 in joliet, so the track prep is pretty good. That run was N/A though. So my first question to the "drag racing gods" is: How fast do you guys think my baby will go n/a and my second question is how fast w/ the 75 dry shot? Its getting pretty crappy out here so the car is going in the garage and not coming back out for a while so i wont know for atleast 4-5months. Any good numbers thrown out there will help alot and i know most of you guys that post in here have very good experience w/ the track and what some traps and good 60's will run. Thanks guys, Zack

107 is good enough for high 12's with a good launch and a clean pass.

Throw away or sell to the competition what ever tires you are running now and get some cheapo steel rims and similar size slicks for the rear, real wrinkle walls. You will run:

12.70s on motor or better, and

114.2 mph @ 11.80s on the dope, or better.

Way to lay down the stank, congratulations, quick car!

Thanks guys....and yeah by the way, i was looking into to buying some e/t streets to go on my old stocker rims. Hopefully that will put me in the 1.8's
Seems like the bf dr's dont hook to well for me, i heat em' good...launch at like 4grand and spin like a ****! then i heat em' again..launch at bout 3200 and bogg. Its just a never ending fight. I have only been able to make two passes thought , considering i was at the track for 5 hours and everyone was blowing their engines and still coasting down the track leaving oil everywhere! damn hippies!

Re: Need to clear this up....dying to know

I run 28 x 9 mt et drags with the stock rear end and a ta girdle (don't really know if it helps). Anyway as long as you don't do anything mental you shouldn't break the rear. Don't spin one tire in the water box without the other. Don't power out of the box or across the starting line with a TFD style burnout (you'll get in trouble anyway). Same stuff goes for street driving with gravel, yard jobs, etc. Be kind to your rear, and it'll see you through to the big end. hehehe

oh im kind to the rear....cept for the often race for money. Now what i dont get is that the dr's hook up perfectly on the street afterward warming them up and launching at 3grand. I mean perfect dead hook ! But other then that, the rearend never see any harm

Well I don't see how on the street they work and not at the track. The 60 foot says it all. I'll try to remember to look at the footer when my car went 108 or so.

How's the action on Doty road?

Re: Need to clear this up....dying to know

whats even more depressing, watching someone make a low 11 sec pass on the stocker rear... and i would have mad a low 13 pass and snapped it

just get that 12 bolt in or that 9inch...and launch from where you want and not have to worry bout the rear anymore
