Madman's Alternator Bracket

I ordered this kit. It should be made of gold for $175. The belt they sent me with the kit is for a 2.3 ford, but it is too long. Can anyone let me know if they had any troubles with this. I cannot get in touch with Madman Racing.
Please help.
Thanks,
Craig

hmm, the belt that came with my Madman bracket was a little too short. i just elongated the slot in the bracket a little so i could move the alternator in closer to make it fit instead of buying another belt

I havent had any phone calls on this subject. Our kits are sold with a stock balancer. There are 2 belt sizes a 36 for a stock balancer and a 34.5 for a aftermarket balancer. OR if you have an underdrive pulleys then you need a shorter belt.

Well, I changed back to my original ballancer when I put the bracket on and the belt is too long. If I elongate the hole, I will cut through the end of the bracket. I need a shorter belt.
Thanks,
Craig

I bought the 34.5 inch belt that you recommended. It is too short.

36" is too long.
34.5" is too short.

I shouldn't have to chase down a belt for this. I must have the wrong bracket. If I try to use the 36" belt, I run out of bracket. The alternator hits the block before the 34.5" belt will work, but the bracket shows plenty of adjustment that way.

I ordered it, took 2 weeks to get it, tried to get help to fix it, could not reach you, and now it still doesn't work.

Thanks,
Craig
