This is a short video that I did as a "bonus features" for the CamaroZ28.com Nationals DVD. It's of the 2003 M8 event, otherwise known as the Michigan event. The "M" events were a long-standing tradition for us F-body owners from the F-body.org list server that goes back to 1996, when 25 of us rented Milan raceway one July day.

Started by Dave Houser and Paula Bosely, then continued by Jason Debler of CamaroZ28.com, the event grew to include up to about 120 cars of mostly GM models.

The "M" events lasted each year from 1996 through 2008, usually in October as a season-closing get-together when cold air made our cars go faster.

I hope you enjoy this 12 minute Youtube short, covering the M8 Michigan event. It features a lot of regulars from CamaroZ28.com and even a few "infamous" faces from years gone by.

I think I'll transcribe the Camaroz28.com Nationals DVD onto Youtube. I've stripped the old machine and dumped the hard drive to the new computer, so I am sorting through stuff, clearing out some of the old videos, and organizing them. I just finished transcribing the 2004 Hot ROd Magazine Pump Gas Drags to Youtube just today. I have someone from San Diego who looked me up because he found out that I am probably the only source for '04 PGD video footage on the internet.

In fact, I was just about to shoot a link to some unreleased footage that "I" believe is like GOLD for tecchie prople interested in Camshaft technology.
