slow track times anyone help?

Cars a 97 ss m6 w/ lt,ory, cai, and a zoom clutch... okay my best time was 14.2 at 102 my first pass: tire pressure at 32psi rpms at 2k and dumped the clutch tires spun bad ran a 14.2 at 101... 2nd pass: tire pressure at 20psi rpms at 2k dumped the clutch car bogged bad ran 14.5 at 100 3rd pass: tire pressure at 20psi rpms at 2500 dumped the clutch car bogged again and ran 14.2 at 102... these numbers seem really high what's wrong and how do I stop the bogging

Are you running street tires or slicks?

What brand? True street tires or drag radials?

Regular street radials should be run at or near their normal running pressure then raise the launch rpm 'till the launch just chirps the tires. That's a tricky chore but it just takes practice.

If your using the stock 10 bolt I highly doubt you'll ever get a decent launch without breaking it. You'll need some DRs or slicks and about a 5k or higher clutch dump. A m6 needs to have a decent driveline to get it done off the starting line.
PS, Don't forget to put on a drive shaft safety loop.

What AL SS590 M6 said. Leave the pressure at or near the manufacturers recommended rating. Under inflated tires cup which decreases the amount of contact area between the tire and road.

Are you doing a burnout? If so, don't. Overheating street tires causes them to become slimy in a sense.

They are regular street tires I think the brand is raptor and yes I was doing a preaty good burnout to warm up the tires... and as for the 10 bolt well mine just blew a tooth of the pinion gear so have another 10 bolt on the way and I wasent even launching when the rear blew
