Looking for a 50/50 weight transfer.. Any advise?

Lookig to get a 50/50 weight transfer on the car. I will be moving the battery to the rear and have already removed the front sway bar. Weld Drag lights will be going up front with skinnies. And also what is the best way to get an accurate reading. A cat scale like at a truckstop?

You have a long way to go to get 50/50 weight. It would be easier to just add weight to the rear. F-bodys are very nose heavy.

Use the truck scales. Drive on with the front wheels stopping near the center of the scale and the back wheels still off. That will get your front weight. Drive the whole car on. That will be a total weight. Drive off and stop when the rear wheels are near the center and the front wheels are off. That will give the rear weight. If you add up the front and rear weight, it should total the total weight. You want to get all measurements with you in the car since the car doesn't go down the track without a driver. Take your helmet also. Have the car set up just like you were about to go down the track; fuel, leave jack at home etc.

The last time I weighed my car it was 58/42 and there isn't much left to take off the front of the car. Some aluminum heads would help though. I should be able to shave off at least 50 pounds this winter with a smaller cooling system since I'm going to alcohol next year.
