little tricks to knock down times?

well i got a few races coming up, againt a few stangs who claim to have a little somethin to show me. i was wondering if any of you guys have any little tips or tricks to knock down my times a little without spending much more money.

i have the stuff in my sig plus a cam,electric w.p, and a tune.

i know take everything out of my car, air down tires,remove sway bar,

anyone else got a little trick or something? i really dont wanna lose to fox bodies haha.

Take any extra weight out of your car (spare tire, jack, floor mats, fat chicks, Etc).

Radial tires? Air them up not down.

As mentioned above, remove all weight not required.

Don't allow them to try something different like a rolling launch etc. Launch from a standing start. I high powered car with street tires will usually just spin off the line.

If you don't think you can beat them in a heads up race, challenge them to a bracket race. That will show who's the better driver no matter what type of car they drive.

Install a hidden NOS system.
