I've done a search on this and haven't found all to much info on it.

I'm looking for some wieght saving mods while I'm putting the car back together. How much savings is light weight carpet over stock carpet/stock carpet w/ sound material removed?

Also, how is the quality of the carpet? I'm not looking for industrial strenght, but I don't want it "fuzzing off" everytime I step on it either.

How is the fit?

ls1speed for $260 seems a little high, anyone else know alternatives(that still look OK)?
If the wieght was high enough it would be worth it, but I just don't see any numbers.

I just put some in a 97 Trans am. Its not molded. I had to cut it for a cage also. You will need to trim. It serves its purpose light weight. I wouldnt enter shows with it.
