LED Lights at the track
LED Lights at the track
went to dragrace a couple weeks back & I didnt think of it at the time when I saw a sign at the front gate that said that " perfect Light is not .000" I really liked seeing this.
What's that got to do with the LED lights? That just tells me that the track is still using the older timing system of .500/.400 as a perfect light. It's just a software change to have it display .000 as a perfect light.

NO Bremerton raceways went to the LED lights & are NOW using .000 as a perfect light.
So it was a typo error.
Eventually all the tracks will be switched over to the new timing system. It's not all that new though. Many years ago .000 used to be a perfect light. Some older tracks still haven't switch over to the .500 light system so now they don't have to change again.
Our local track won't be NHRA sanctioned this year so I won't be able to go to the bracket finals in Ashcroft this year unless I join/race at another NHRA track. I need to get to Mission some day just to see what it's like to race at sea level.
