Launching an A4

Ive been looking around and am not sure if I should keep my traction control off or on? I was practicing launching last night so I dont mess up at the track and my car just goes sideways when I launch with Traction Control off from 2k RPM's :/

99 Z28, Stock

Thanks -Mike

traction on will limit your amount of torque i think but letting it loose from 2k especially in an LS1 will do that. Heres your solution http://www.nittotire.com/tires_555r.asp

just pedal it off the line until you can go wot without loosing traction. I usually just hold the brake with one foot and keep my foot on the gas pedal maybe 8 or 900r's and once you can keep traction you can wot it. But you have to find that point on your own. Look for about 2.2-2.0 with street tires and an a4. My best with all my mods is a 1.9 on street tires. Look for 1.6-1.7 on some MT streets.
