I know you guys have probably answered this a thousand times, but it will my first time at the track soon and just looking for the best methods to launch my car and or tips. thanks. oh on street tires

The launch will have to be done very carefully...with those 3.23 it should be interesting...If you ride the clutch to keep from bogging you most likely will fry the clutch, and if you dump it too quickly it will spin a whole bunch or just bog. I would try it out a bunch on the street and see what method works best. I always had luck with easing the clutch out equally with throttle pressure, and not too quickly on the clutch release.

This is what I do: I run it up t o 4k rpm, and when I go I feather the clutch out while planting the gas. I'm only on the clutch for a split second, and I'm still perfecting the technique, but look at my 60' times. On a nearly stock car, try to only run it up to about 3k, and com off the clutch faster. Just keep trying until you find something that works.
