Just got home from M11!

Well, I'm home.

The good news: I have a new best trap speed! 107.83, an increase of 0.28mph. Maybe I got a shot of cooler air, maybe I'm shifting better... who knows?

The bad: Either I absolutely suck at launching my car, or GS-D3s absolutely suck for straight line traction.

My 60' times for the day:
2.272
2.293
2.267
2.251
2.144
2.148
2.304
2.327
2.235

I started the rear tires at 32psi and dropped them one pound at a time. I got down to 27, and by the looks of things, 28 was about right. It's hard to tell for sure, because everyone said the track was slick, and I had traction issues in first on a couple runs.

Since my 60' times sucked, I was unable to improve upon my personal best ET (13.219, established at M10). Here's my best slip for the day:

60': 2.144
330': 5.864
1/8: 8.789 @ 84.65
1000': 11.273
1/4: 13.367 @ 107.83

I wanted to have someone else give my car a shot, but I didn't get around to asking anyone.

I took about 200 pictures... I'll be making a post with those later in the M11 forum

Nice meeting you Jake. It sure was a fun day.
And as far as the track being slick, I pulled 5-1.50s, a 1.52, a 1.498, and a 1.488.
The track was not gluey sticky, but it wasn't slick either.

Yeah, I'm under the impression that my GS-D3's do the same thing to VHT that they do with water -- cut through it and push it out of the way.

Oh yeah, and I weighed my car, too.

With me in the car, about a quarter tank of gas, wearing a helmet and dressed for cold weather, glovebox and center console empty, floormats removed:

Front: 1995 lbs
Rear: 1551 lbs
Total: 3546 lbs

I weigh about 140, so it looks like the car itself weighs just a touch over 3400. For some reason I didn't think of getting out and weighing it by itself.
