i happened to see an old slip that was sitting on my desk here from Long Island Motorsports Park in the Hamptons..............

why on earth is there a line titeld "ET at 594 feet" between the 330 foot time ant the 1/8 mile ET...i never noticed this was there and i've never heard of it.....any ideas y they put that there? is there even supposed to be a sensor 594 feet out?

 

There are two sensors at 660...timing and speed....that's the only thing I can think it would be. (MPH)

 

Many 1/8 mile tracks provide a 594 foot ET. Kind of like how a 1/4 mile track will provide a 1000' ET.

I use it for 1/8 mile racing in case I have to dump it.

 

Yea, i had a screwy slip, when my LT1 was close to stock(bolt ons) it said i trapped 114 mph..when i 1st looked at it i was like holy ****, but I quickly noticed it was a misprint
