The Impala is FINALLY in the 11s

Well, Me and a few of my friends made the trip to Noble OK this weekend, and I finally got my N2O to work all the way down the track!!!!

The weather was a little warm, but pretty nice. Temp 80, Baro 29.88, Dewpoint of 67, and an elevation of 1054. I ran the 50 shot, and got the following time slip:

RT .058
60' 1.681
330' 4.873
1/8 7.551
MPH 91.90
1000' 9.860
1/4 11.808
MPH 115.93

I was rather happy, to say the least. I made a few more passes, and was told to go home until I put a cage in

I did notice that I was getting a steady 9 degrees of KR going down the track, even with a full tank of VP 103. Looks like its time to bypass some knock sensors.

My best MPH of the night was 117.14, but on a slightly slower slip.

thanks for reading.

The only vid that I know of, was of my last run before getting booted. I was running lown on N2O, and ended up a little slower, an 11.92 I believe at 113ish. I will see if I can get it hosted.

Here is a video of the last run. I ran out of N2O going down the track, and I guess that is why you can see flames coming out of my cutouts on the top end (running to rich without adequate nitrous pressure)

It is a little slower than the others, but not much.

PS: I dont know who the guy yells P*SSY too, but my 5 year old son thought it was a good thing aimed at me, so then he chimes in "my dads a P*SSY, wooo hooo!!!, LMAO

Last time I weighed the car in race trim with me it it, it was 4750ish, but I have dropped like 80 lbs with the prostar XPs and skinnies.

It sure ain't a lightweight.

Yeah thats moving.I wish I had one of the videos of our Impy that weighs a tad over 4400lbs and runs 9.60's@140mph But it has 512ci of BBc and a D3 Procharger with 11psi. too. For some pics check out Schexnayderracing.com and look for the big orange 1967 Impy. Later

How big of a shot are you running? I don't see any N20 in your sig.

Currently I am running an NX 50 shot. As soon as I get my stand alone fuel for the N2O, I plan on upping it to a 125 or 150 shot.

Dam fine numbers for a car that runs 15.40s stock. I'm at 12.83 at 107 @ 15# boost with a Turbonetics T60 but just added a wet NX kit. I dont want to spray it until I can figure out my lean condition. My 36# injectors might not be enough. Hoping for 11s. JT
