Thumbs up I did it..I did it! I learned how to drag the M6...new times

Well before yesterday my previous best was a 14.1 @ 98 w/ a 2.3 60'

Yesterday it was PERFECT for racing...nice and cool out

Anyways, heres how it went for me:

60'-1/4-MPH

2.110-13.740-101.634

2.099-13.643-102.261

2.258-13.819-101.919

2.280-13.820-102.333

I was hoping for a 13.7, and I ran it on my first run
After the 13.6 run, I KNEW it had a 13.5 in it if I could just drop the 60' a little.
But I wasn't able to pull it off. Still, I am very happy with pulling a 2.09 60' (basically a 2.1 though) on street tires in my second time out to the track in the M6.
Before yesterday, I also thought that my Silver Z would NEVER run a 13.5 like my Black A4 Z28. The funny thing is, my best run in the A4 on street tires was a 13.64...so I guess I proved myself wrong

You think there is a 13.4 in this car? Just wondering since yesterday was the last day of the track for me

Thumbs up

What did you do different, slip the clutch? I gained 4 tenths that way in the same weather and track conditions

Actually, I just revved it to 2000-2200 rpms, and let it out...easing into Full Throttle!
I was the 6th car to get to the track. I watched them spray VHT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE TRACK So the track was just hookin like crazy!
On the 13.8 runs, I was trying to be greedy and leaving at 2500 rpms and PUNCHING out

Good job learning your car. It'll probably get better too.
