Wow!!! that's all I can say! Great times and great driving. I think you might have the best 60 ft stock style suspension. BTW how much were you spraying on that run and how were you launching the car.
Congrats

thanks guys! that is a pretty "stiff" 60', the BMR parts really make the car hook! i still can't get over it, a 1.27 60'

St.Thomas dragway did a good job of keeping the track prepped.

It was a fat 300 shot on top of what the motor puts out, so an easy 740 rwhp all at 5000rpm, what a rush!

Jason,

it was just a matter of time before it happened, i knew the car had the potential.if it wasn't me then i am sure it would've been someone else. it was all a waiting game. the weather broke, racing season is back and the car is ready!

Awesome times Taner.

Just curious, what did you change from your 10.14 from last year to your 9.68? I remember something about you possibly freshening the motor and a camshaft change. Did you change the cam? Was that on a full slick or an ET Street?

What is your fuel system for the nitrous? A single 8an (or is it 6an) line from the factory tank and a Holley Blue or Black?

Sorry for all the questions, just very interested in your combo as I have a very similiar setup (besides not having my nitrous install completed). My 392 has ran 120mph with a very fat tune and not enough gear so I am hoping to get that mph up to 125 or so and then hit it with 200 and working my way up to 300.

Again great times.

thanks dave,

last year i had 13/16 good lifters! doh! also yes new cam, secret grind
in race mode the car is 250 #'s lighter than last year, i finally threw on hal shocks as well. in street mode it is 200 #'s lighter.

black pump, sorta sumped from tank, it is a 8an line...i believe. full lsick all the way, i wnat to see what the car can run without any excuses

What setting did you finally go with on your hals? What was your race weight on that run?...I still can't believe it..that's gonna be a hard record to top.

race weight is about 3425ish

settings on hals, i have to go check, i know i had the fronts turned WAY up, and the rear i actually staggered, but still fairly high. i am also running airbags in the rear, a drag bar is in order at this point.
i realize there is a bit of room for improvement especially in getting the car to go straight. i think i have a baseline now!
