I've got a nearly stock LT1/T56.......what seems to work best for me is to do a slow clutch drop at 2300 rpm....trying to keep the rpms no higher than 3300 with the clutch while going WOT......that just barely spin the tires.

Launching at the same rpm, yet a more agressive release (drop) and spinning the tires doesn't seem to work as well.

I know a lot of you guys make well over 350 whp and I'm just a wienner......just curious what us 'stockers' are doing.
