Post How to do a burnout in an A4

I still cannot do a burnout in my car???

What am I doing wrong? I put it in D push the brake half way down and give it gas until the car moves forward. The car never sits and burns the tires. The rear end moves around and I end up just going forward with no smoke.

I feel like a retard at the track, help me!!!!

Stock tires?
The stock tires really don't need heated up at all. They just need to be cleaned off from the rocks that you pick up along the way.
As for doing a burnout hold break down hard and push the accelartor down until it does do a burnout.

Not stock tires, Nittos. Just hold down the brake and floor it?? Maybe Im doing a little too much foot work trying to be light on brakes but hard on gas...

When I was running in the 13's, apply a little pressure to the brakes and spin them for a second with stock radials.

Now, I just backup near the waterbox and take it to about 4000 rpms for about 3 seconds and shoot up to the line.
