Hoosier QTP vs. MT ET Street

I decided to try the Hoosiers this time to see how they are since other peeps are using them and here are some impressions. It seems the Hoosiers may have a little better compound or maybe they were "fresher" when I got them, but they don't seem to do the "wrinkle wall" effect as well as the ET streets. Can anyone confirm or deny my suspicions? Keep in mind that I am comparing both DOT tires and not their full drag slicks.

My experience is there is normally a range of compounds that work well within a given power range. Track prep, tire age, even the VHT formula the track uses for treatment has different properties. Type of burnout also has a lot to do with tire performance.

Sidewall flex is very different than compound and to me a tire with solid flex will launch more consistently given that the rest of the tire hooks up. As a bracket racer consistentcy is extremely important to me. That is just my limited opinion.

That's what I want...Consistency! the Hoosier's were not consistent but I'm trying to figure out if I need to go with a bigger/wider tire or different suspension or stay away from the hoosiers or ?

The rear suspension is very stiff right now and maybe I need a little flex there to launch better.
