hit the 10's
I drove my car out to NYIRP on the last day of the season Oct 25 with my 7 year old as the chief cameraman. Here is the video. What do ya think I can improve on?

How much gas you spraying, and what kind of tires are you running? Now, without knowing those things I'd say you definitely to address the 60 ft, 1.58 on the gas is weak, also I hope you have a 12bolt/9in rear in it because if you don't when it does stick it will be toast. Also what hp is it making?

I Have had a hard time hooking up with this car! I feel with the mods and power I have I should be 1.30-40 60 ft range. Earlier this year I had 275/50 15 MT drag radials with a very irregular short times the best being 1.50. I swithced to MT 275/60/15 drag radials and got that 1.58 the first time out( i had 19 pounds of pressure and a 5 second burnout). I think with a little more trial and error with the tire pressure and burnout those 60ft will drop. I also have a UMI drag bar that im going to install to go with all the other suspension stuff already on the car such as lower control arms and relocating brackets, subframe connectors, spohn adjustable torque arm as well as drag shocks in the front set to soft and hard in the rear, tubular upper and lower control arms with a tubular k member.
I have been thinking about just using a drag slick instead of the street drag radials, but i enjoy driving my car to the track and racing.
Im shooting 150shot of nitrous with a moser 12bolt also.
any other tips to better my short time will be appreciated.

Yep, try 21-22 psi with those tires. I have them on my car and dead hook them with 1.48-1.52 short times consistantly.

Sounds like your on the right track, and seat time is the only way to dial the car in. I also agree with AL SS590 M6 about going up on the tire psi, but the suspension has to be right to hook with alot of psi. I run the Hoosier 30x10.5 radial and run 17 psi cold and after the burnout it's around 18 psi. I used to run 20 psi and it hooked great but didn't wear the tire even. I have a buddy that runs IHRA C/M stock and runs the 30x9 at between 22-24 psi and is on the bumper every pass. What I'm saying is your ET gain will be in the suspension.

Congrats on the et. I know you said traction is an issue so I take it that's the reason your out at least a car length before the nitrous comes on. Once you can hook I don't see any reason why you could'nt pick up at least 2-3 tenths. I am a little surprised your NA times are not a little better though. You have some sweet parts in that set-up.
