help with 60 ft

these are my times on nitto dr's, with a m6, front swaybar removed, and nitrous kicking in about 50 ft down the track. with all the mods in signature on a 1/8 mile track.

60ft ------- 2.035
330ft ------ 5.597
et@594ft -- 7.993
1/8 et ----- 8.527
1/8 mph --- 84.25

I was sliping the clutch from 4000 rpm. If I tryed to drop it quicker it would break loose or at a lower rpm it would bog so does this sound about right. And what would my 1/4 mile time be with the times have.

Re: help with 60 ft

You are looking around a 13.2 for the quarter, approx...

Your launch needs work. With drag radials you should easily be sub 2.0 sixty foot time, provided you are on a decent track.

Basically, and no insult intended, my hunch is you simply need practice. It took me a long time to get the hang of launching so I didn't bog and didn't spin.

What happened to the stock rear sway bar? Mine went back on after I upgraded my rear. You should retain the rear sway bar.

Re: help with 60 ft

Basically 8.198 x 1.55 = 12.706

This is just a "rule of thumb" factor: 1/8 ET x 1.55=1/4 ET

Some people use 1.54 or 1.56, depending on the car and setup.
