Got a new best

After the new Drive Shaft i got 12.4 at 114 with a 1.9 6oft. I was hoping for more MPH since i ran a best of 12.7 at 111.98 in the summer without the cam. I think i need 3.73 at the least because i was shifting to 4th at 6600RPM just before the finish line.

I like the way you have the DYNO results after each of your mods.
Nice car.

Nice car.
I do it this way to help my fellow LS1'ers choose their mods. I wish most of the guys would do the same way so people can choose whats the best mod for the bang and go from there.

Good times, but better mph. What was your 60' time? I think that sum bitch is good for a 11.9x if you get that power to the ground. A4 or M6? Awesome times at any rate, Fred

Thanks, My 60ft was 1.95. I dont think 11.9 is possible with a car that weighs 3650-3700 with me. Also im afraid to push the car for a lower 60ft because i still have the stock 10 bolt. Its a M6 with stock gears. Im sure there is one or two mph in the car, but i need at least 3.73 since i was shifting to 4th at 6600RPM just before the finish line.

Those are very impressive numbers. What year is your car? Did you do any free mods or boltons...ported maf, underdrive pulley, ported throttle body, etc...

I have 02 Z28.....I have FLP headers(ORP), Cutout, Cam (224/230 .587/.593 114) and LID only. No TB, MAF, or pulleys. Im sure the TB and pulleys would give me another 15rwhp or so. The thing is that is hurting most on the launch is the setup of my car. The suspension is very stiff since the setup is for raod course racing. Thats why i cant get any better than 1.9 6oft even with 18psi in the 315's nittos.

Here is everything i have on my car which figuers the heavy weight:
Mods: LID(K&N), Hooker Catback with a Cutout at the I pipe, FLP Long Tube headers, Mcloed Kevlar/Organic, 160 stat, FM7 114 Futral Cam (224/230 .587 .593 114),26918 Springs, Titanum Retainers, Pushrods.
Accessories: PRO 5.0 shifter, LS1 Edit, Auto Tap EFI V5 Live, ZR1 Wheels, Nittos 315's rear, 275 Fronts.
Suspension: Brembo rotors with HP plus pads, Eibach springs (Pro Kit), Bilsten shocks, BMR Torque Arm, LG Strut tower brace, LG SFC's, LG LCA's, LG sways, LG panhard rod.

id get 4.10s with a stickier tire.yes, then save for a 12 bolt. that should get you an 11 sec pass.

i wish i could afford to dyno after each mod too. strong car man.
