Is this a good time?

9.058 on the 1/8th. The car has a hotcam and some little stuff, stock exhaust for now. It is an A4. No gears, yet. What would it be in the 1/4? I had a 2.1 60 ft. RT were about .3-.4

My best guestimate is around a 14 flat or so...

Basically take the 1/8 time and multiply by 1.55, give or take depending on how your car performs.

That is pretty slow for a car with a hotcam but if your exhaust is stock that could be a lot of your problem, plus you really need some drag radials to hook up better. I don't know what year your car is or the altitude/weather of your runs. That could have a significant impact on your ET/MPH. In other words, that would be really good in Denver, or really slow at my home track.

If it is an LT1 like mine, I would highly recommend headers and exhaust.

THNX. The JETHOT LT's are waiting to go on. The car is a 93 Z. I think I am having trouble with my tranny. It pulls real hard all the way to third, then it just feel regular. It is hard to describe, 1,2 gear it's like a wild animal, then third gear is like driving Miss Daisy. I had it checked out by a local shop, all they guy did was drive it, they said it was fine though.

Yeah you are having some serious issues. My car ran 8.90's bonestock except for a CAI and a Flowmaster muffler. It has since run 7.80's 1/8th, 12.30's@110mph 1/4mi. with a Hotcam kit, headers and a couple other boltons. See sig for details but I think you will need to have a custom chip burned and a stall converter for sure.

The car has Moroso CAI, Holley 52MM TB, LT4 Hotcam kit, stock heads, Flowmaster Muffler, PCMFORLESS program, and some litttle stuff. The car is a 93 so I cant program it myself. I am waiting to get an USB AKM cable so I can see what it is doing.
