Re: Good night last night...

Homemade!
Had someone make me the brackets for the axle and the lower control, which by the way I have the templates for. Parts wise I have about $130 in the parts, excluding the mounting brackets.

I also had to get the tabs welded on the axle, cost for me was $0 (good friend)

So yes you can make them yourself and save some $$$ or get the MadMan for the $$$.

FYI the tabs are made for a Moser axle. which are 3"

Re: Good night last night...

Ken, I like the way your drivers side attaches. Gives me an idea to shed some weight. I have the big bracket that loops around the panhard rod bracket. That thing has to weight 20 lbs. How do you think that will hold up to hard launches..have you inspected the welds since you have been to the track on it? Is your pass side done the same way?

Re: Good night last night...

They will hold up no problem at all. In fact there is a car here in town (Ed's) that's has a lot more HP than me that's cutting some low 1.3's. It runs 10.20's It's holding up fine. The welder that welded mine almost got both sides of the tab welded up.

I inspected mine when I'm rotating tires (every weekend) and so far they look good.

Re: Good night last night...

Nice ET's. Are the pete z bars or the speed density tuning helping the most? I maybe interested in making a set of those for my car. LMK Later Clint

Re: Good night last night...

These are scanned into a PDF document, they are not 1:1. I'm in the process of getting them in a CAD format.

The axle bracket is made of 1/4" steel, the lower control ones are 3/8"
The lower control brackets are going through another revision. I'm working on the parts list as well.
