Angry getting ready to race this sat (rematch)!!

this past saturday was a disaster in racing for me. here's the story i'll make it short,

i had been driving for about 3-4 hours of cruising on 89 octane or on the highway i got back to my hometown were i'm really popular in racing! a 72 camaro cammed chalenged me to a race and i hate to back down so iwent ahead and raced him and lost.

water temperture was good like 195 deg

tranny temp was at about 200

car had an ugly missfire and took about atleast one second to shift gears on my a-4 on regular D.

THIS week i will have nitto drags, LCA'S relocation bracket's, AND car will be cold, 91 or better octane,

tyrying to keep from pressing the n20 button dam i but if i have to i will smack a 150 shot on his trash talking a*s!! any suggestions will be great. thanks

I am from southern cali like 20 min drive from Riverside. I don't have nitto drags but I have heard people say from I think 18-22 psi. Try it in there.

Re-match

Hey, where you by any chance driving on cruise control. I came back to Brunswick from NED one time about an hour and a half trip on the cc and ran a mustang upon return and almost got my azz handed too me. Really wierd but car ran like crap coming off cruise control. Also i wouldnt trust your nitto's, i switched from bfg's to nittos but i think i got a bad set this time. I mean i can set there and smokem off then when i line up to run I burn posi half way down the track! Time for m/t ets or something! GIVE THIS GUY A LESSON ON FOURTH GENS!

This is the drag racing forum. This is where people who legally race discuss things. Take it to the track.
