gearing question... crossing the line at top of 4th at 103

gearing question... crossing the line at top of 4th at 103

like it says, i am crossing the line wound out(5900ish RPMs) in 4th but only trapping 103.5 at best.... stock motor, LM exhaust, and 3.73's.... i thought i should have more room left at the top of 4th with 3.73's....any input?!?! thanks!!

just from my experience that sounds about right. Im running 4.10s and at apx. 5700rpm (4th gear) Im at about 99mph. Id say if your crossing the line at the top of 4th, your gear is matched up pretty good for your set up. JMO

Well it is for now, but i just got out of school and got a job and now i will have the cash on the side to make the car slightly more fun, so very soon i will have to start shifting into 5th
