Front Swaybar improvement in 60' times?
Front Swaybar improvement in 60' times?
Other than the obvious weight reduction advantage, why (from a suspension dynamics standpoint) would removing the front swaybar improve 60' times? I can't come up with a good technical reason. Anybody have some ideas??

Removing the swaybar allows the body to rise more freely and higher allowing better weight transfer to the rear tires for better traction. That's where most of the improvement comes from.
Now keep in mind that if you are already dead hooking then removing the swaybar will only help with weight reduction.

I didnt' see any improvement at all except for the fact that the car looked better on the launch since the front end jumped up
I'm not sure if I'd recomend removing it on a street car though. It seems to make the car a bit easier to hydroplane in wet weather.
