To FLASH or not to FLASH the TC???
As it says that is the question. In my 95 Z28 at the line should I leave from Idle? It has a 3400 stall? Should I stall it up some?
Thanks,
Tyler

If you flash it from idle....a few things are going to happen.
On street tires, you are going to spin like crazy.
On slicks, you'll probably kill your rearend.
Just powerbrake it up....start at 1K, try 1500, 2K, etc....find the point where you launch the best.
I wouldn't recommend flashing it if you have a stock rear....

I've found that on my 2800 Vigi, idle launches result in lackluster 60' times and lower MPH... 1200 rpm launches do OK when track prep is real ****ty, but the car is ideall launched at around 1700-1800 rpm to pull the best 60' times and the best MPH... this has proven itself to me time and time again
2200 rpm (tried it today) only results in wheelspin... this is all at the track, of course

I come out at idle and get my best 60. I have a Yank 3700 and I went leaving from idle to 1000, 1200 up to 2500 but get horrible 60's. Off the line at idle go 1.59, 1.58Steve
