Depends upon the weather and altitude of the track on the day that you went.
If it was really hot and humid with a low barometer it'll be slow. Higher altitudes make cars slower too.
What was the weather when you went? What track/altitude?

Speed and time are a little slow. That's closer to Vert, territory. Mine did a best of 14.7 stock, 3800lbs. Should be high 13's.

What was your engine temp? I found my LT1 ran better when the temp gauge was just right off the peg on the low side. Above that it slowed down drastically.

One time I hotlapped it out of curiosity to see how much. The first pass was a 13.93 with the temp gauge right off of the peg. The next run probably a few minutes later with the gauge probably between a quarter and half way up it ran a 14.34.

Stock LT1 cars that i have seen run are usually in the mid 14's.
If you have 2.73 gears that wont help at all.
I am from MN also, What track did you run at?

It's a 30th annivercary Z28, so he should have the 3.42 gear, I think?

First you need to correct your ET and MPH.

Second the time that was posted is pretty much on par with a stock LT1. Yes you can go faster with practice and tweaking this and that but you need a baseline which you now have.

I like this one better. you run what you run when you run.

no if, could, or whatever

use this for comparison or bench racing

to the op, no that is not bad I know "fast cars" that couldnt do that good

What was the 60' time. Keeping that down makes a huge difference in the total E/T. 14.4 does not sound too bad for a first time out. I ran a lot of
14's when starting out, and with patience and practice finally ran a best of 13.6 while still stock. (probably in ideal weather too!)
