First time at track (times)

This was my first time ever at the track. Unfortuantly it was a 1/8th mile, so I kinda have a hard time judging how fast my car is based on 1/4 mile times.

60ft 2.27
1/8th 8.75
mph 86.59

Anyone know how this would equate in quarter mile? Anyone have any 1/8mile and 1/4 mile times for camparsion.

My quickest 1/8 mile time was 8.695 @ 82.43, on a run that turned 13.431 @ 104.74 (that was with a 2.058 60' time). Now, my speed was slower than your 86 mph, but maybe that's the difference between A4 / M6? All my 1/8 mile times are in the 8.7 - 8.8 range, and 1/4 times are all 13.5~"ish" (13.4 - 13.6).

Hope that helps!

I just went to the track for the first time today and the best run I had was an 1/8 mile time of 8.71@84.16 which ended up being 13.407@104.63, but I have an a4 also so it may be a little faster for you.

I'll have to check my 1/8 mile times when I get back to my room. Mine will also be from an auto too, but it shouldn't be too far off.

I also want to check out that 0-60 calculator, even though I think it'll be off since it's meant for turbo DSMs.
